Collaborate with the Midnight Burger team to develop the visual representation of Caspar, the accidental adventurer and heart of the diner.
In my design and artwork, I wanted to keep the idea of Caspar just being a 'normal' guy that has been thrust into an extraordinary situation against his own will, which while true after all those years you'd think he would change this perseption but doesnt, as shown through his possible fear of change, like not changing his outfit for years, not removing his 'broken' watch (it still ticks! the time just doesnt change!), keeping his hair at a reletively similar length and staying in a routine.
He likes to keep his outfit basic, not adding or taking anything away from it,m with an exception of the apron and his glasses. I wanted to give off the dad-like vibe in a more man-at-work way rather than the sort of casual dad you'd normally see, shown by his basic jeans, sneakers and button up with the tee beneath it. His clothes are like comfort items to him, grounding him and keeping him in the present... even though they're never really.... in the present... He is really just giving that grown out, tired older man look.
Caspar has always been this yellowy-orange colour to me, and that is a theme throughout his designs.
