Clark Kee is a New York based actor and director. He began his career in the 70s with the Williamstown Theater Festival’s Second Company, alongside actors such as Michael Gross, Tom Hulce, Robin Bartlett, and Alan Rosenberg, among others. After a stint as Lynne Meadow’s assistant at the Manhattan Theater Club he founded West-Park Theater on New York’s Upper West Side, producing updatedclassics and new works for several years, including two by Oscar-winner Ted Tally. As an actor he appeared regionally as Nachum the Beggar in Mill Mountain Theater’s production of "Fiddler on the Roof," and at Shadowlawn Summer Stage as Dr Sloper in "The Heiress," and Gaston in "Picasso at the Lapin Agile," among other roles. In NYC notable appearances include Uncle Pat Lawler in Dave McLaughlin’s "God Willing," and Holocaust denier Bernard Cooper in Peter Sagal’s "Denial," which the New York Times called "chillingly calculating." Previous voice work includes narration for the Quest for Liberty/Heroes exhibit at the National Liberty Museum in Philadelphia, and several characters -- Scrooge himself among them -- in Marvin Kaye’s readers’ theater production of "The Last Christmas of Ebenezer Scrooge," which the Times called "thoughtful and moving." Recent projects include portraying Russian gym teacher Mr. Wodowski in Dave Schoner’s pilot for kids’ TV series "Arthur Futuro"; adapting and directing "Fool’s Lear," Shakespeare’s King Lear from the Fool’s perspective; and directing "Round Dance," Clark’s updated translation of Arthur Schnitzler’s groundbreaking "Reigen." The last two productions were presented in association with the Accidental Repertory Theater in NYC, artistic director John Strasberg, where Clark has been Administrative Director since 2011
