Explorers 5 entails five mis-adventurers—each distinct in origin and character—as they navigate through the sprawling Realms in search of legendary Loot. In this saga of epic proportions, our heroes, bound by a common goal yet driven by diverse motives, traverse landscapes filled with danger and wonder. Their journey follows the elusive trail of a mysterious antagonist who always seems to be one step ahead, cleverly eluding them while leaving behind tantalizing clues. As they piece together fragments of an ancient map, they delve into age-old secrets and face challenges that test their resolve and camaraderie.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
For this Co/Create, you can simply submit your portfolio with a written explanation of the art you hope to create for the story.
Alternatively, you may also submit any original piece of visual content that conveys your vision for the subterranean world, including but not limited to:
- Fully realized comic panel illustrations
- Sketches or preliminary drawings of the environment and characters
- Concept art or mood boards that convey the style and theme of the story
- Any other visual representations that capture the tone of the story

FINAL DELIVERABLES
The selected artist for this Co/Create will create a series of comic panels for Explorers 5 as is currently written, excluding the "Introduction" (see The Painter on Royal Road for reference). The artist will collaborate with the creator of Explorers 5 to determine the nature of the content for each panel and the number of panels needed to bring the series to life.
