CREATIVE PROMPT

Patrick Adams, husband to Dolores, father to Allister, Chief Science and Technology Officer at The Andromeda Project. Amidst a mysterious “arrival” from a foreign entity, goes against the orders of his superiors to safely land an alien craft arriving from the Andromeda galaxy, risking everything to avoid a global catastrophe.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Character Notes:

Male presenting, 30s, BIPOC, deep southern accent, speaks with a mix of southern wit, intelligence, and drawl from his roots.

Performance Notes:

The performer should have a firm, authoritative voice that conveys intelligence and determination. The voice should also capture a sense of urgency and compassionate paternal concern of Patrick guiding Allister through the arrival.

Audition Reading:

"Allister, there’s something coming. I don’t know what it is...I don’t know exactly what it is. But I need you to listen to me and listen to me good."

FINAL DELIVERABLES

The selected voice performer for this Co/Create will conduct a one-hour recording session to record all of the lines currently written for Patrick Adams in The Arrival (see the The Arrival comic for reference).
