Did someone say SCIENCE ™??? Because if someone did you can expect Durja to be there ready to share her crazy, over-the-top LOVE of SCIENCE ™. Biology, Chemistry, meteorology, if it’s an -ology, she is ready to go! And when we say “love” we’re talking hormonal teenage infatuation levels of love that has absolutely ZERO self awareness. Despite her wacky personality, Durja is extremely intelligent and innovative. And she’d be happy to tell you all about it over pizza, donuts, and her latest deadly weapon featuring an all-new fusion reactor core coupled with the latest magnetic and laser technology she threw together last night while hyped up on her latest cocktail chemistry experiment.

Voice actors should exemplify Durja’s zany and over-energetic love of science.
Audition Reading:
Each submission should include an English-language audition reading of Durja’s lines from the following sample dialogue:

Scene 1:
She sees Taeru sitting there, and he stares at her with suspicion. Who is this woman and what does she want? Durja is sparkling with glee.
Durja: "Oh, oh my! Well stimulate my synapses, there he is!"
Durja looks like she's died and gone to heaven as she approaches with sparkles. She might even be blushing. Dreams do come true.
Durja: "Wow, aren't you just something else? A little young, smaller than I expected."
She analyzes him, poking at him. Taeru looks increasingly more aggravated.
Durja: "Maybe stronger muscle fibers? Oh, a retractable nano-helmet! Are those multi-leveled electro magnetic boots???"
Durja looks way too excited as she puts her hands on either side of Taeru’s face, squishing it. She is way in his bubble and he glares at her.
Durja: "I'm going to need you to take off all of your clothes—!"
Scene 2:
Durja gestures to Taeru’s uniform which she has disassembled.
Durja: "I backed up the information held in his headgear. I’ll send you the files. But overall, eight different transmitters, one in each boot, glove, helmet, chest piece, and belt."
Durja: "I salvaged the gloves and boots, however I’d have to deconstruct the entire head gear to make it “safe” so I recommend destroying it. Shame, really."
Scene 3:
Durja skulks off, weeping and wailing and gnashing her teeth as she does so.
Durja: "Just incinerate the latest and greatest electromagnetic technology for no reason other than our lives? Great! Just great!"
FINAL DELIVERABLES
The selected voice performer for this Co/Create will conduct a recording session to record the 27 lines written for Durja in the first 4 chapters of Temerity.
As additional chapters are produced, the chosen actor will work with the Temerity creator to set up a mutually agreed upon recording schedule and scope of work and budget to record future chapters of the story.
