Gold Coast Star Chase
The Gold Coast Theme song from a previous co-create suggests that the crew are now in a place called “Gold Coast”. The “Gold Coast Star Chase” (or similar name with where the crew are located) is an award winning local talent show. The crew has decided to audition for the show in the hope that their music might somehow be heard in their home reflection.
Five or six of the crew (not sure if Jora would join such an endeavor) would audition for the show, each singing an original song. The musical style to be used by each crew member would be chosen by the co-creator of each piece. The music could be great, good or in the style of a terrible American Idol audition.
The Co-creates
Musicians would be able to create a unique musical piece, maximum length 2.5 mins of any level of quality in a style that they think is suitable for each crew member. The crew members backstory would be a source of inspiration for the song. The male crew members would have male singers and the female crew members would have female singers. The style of music would be completely up to the co-creator however we would seek to have a range of styles in the actual show. The song may have musical backing or be sung without backing music, totally up to the creator. We may want a mixture of both for balance.
A writing co-create would pull the show together complete with introductions and comments from judges for each contestant.
There would be two (or three) voice acting opportunities for judges. Any voices for contestants would be provided by the actor voicing that character.
The background art would be simple and in the style of The Disco Ball ISS from Shelby and Sandy.
The Production
With up to 12.5 mins of music and a short intro and outro for each crew member the whole show would be roughly 20 mins long.
I would like to be considered for the writing co-create however I do not have the skill or capability to even do the terrible musical audition.
