Collaborate with the creators of The Arrival to compose the thematic score that will underscore the journey of Allister Adams and his family as they navigate the dangers of a superstorm disguised as an impending alien arrival.
I wrote this short score exclusively for this opportunity. Starting with a pulsing bassline, thundering toms and some sfx it leads you directly in this distopian world. With the synth line joining it gets a futuristic feeling. The short piano break spreads a little bit of hope in this dark world - leading to a dramatic finale with a string ostinato and deep horns symbolising the tragic feeling.
It's just a rough demo, without being polished as it could be. There happened no mixing and it's not as full as a complete soundtrack, because this would need a lot of more work.
