Collaborate with the creator of After Honour to compose the thematic score that will underscore the intense and emotional journey of Red, the last Guardian of Rage, as he navigates the dangers threatening his family and the Land.
Below is Red's Theme; this is a polished and spruced up version with better mixing compared to my version from a year ago. I think this still bears a lot of resemblance to the general vibe that I envision for the score, particularly for more dramatic and heavy moments. I feel that a hybrid orchestral sound palette can definitely complement the thematic elements of After Honour, but only to a point; I think synthesized elements should only add to the effect of the music (rather than be a noticeable highlight to the listener).
I also envision, due to the setting of the story, some amount of acoustic guitar being included in the score. I don't currently have anything parallel to my vision for After Honour particularly, but here are two early demos for different projects involving acoustic guitar for different moods! The first is a scrappy battle kind of vibe from last year, and the second is more despondent and melancholic, from 2021.
