Collaborate with the creator of After Honour to compose the thematic score that will underscore the intense and emotional journey of Red, the last Guardian of Rage, as he navigates the dangers threatening his family and the Land.
I feel this story to be very close to nature (duh), that's why I didn't want to approach composing for it in the standard classical meets electronic vibe. Kept it very tribal in order to correspond to much of the violence Red has to deal with, however I wanted to keep it natty and raw as possible in order to avoid any artificial sounding instruments that would take away from the immersion. Rage is a very primal and punchy feeling and it shouldn't be devolved into music intricacies, straight to the point, orchestral with a touch of "exotica". The story also carries a pretty somber note that is filled with a LOT of unknowns regarding Red's choices, so I wanted a melody with a unique sound to correspond to that introspective part of the story. So, here's my idea for the After Honour Theme.
If you choose to work with me, I will use the same sound palette you hear, but evolve it within the context of each scene. A little bit exotic, primal, yet ethereal.
