- This week, the incredible, heart-pounding sci-fi epic that is The Arrival by Jason Michael Primrose launched on StoryCo to wide acclaim! Jason used our story builder’s new features like camera shake and animated backgrounds to bring to life the prologue of his well-acclaimed storytelling universe Lost Children of Andromeda in this new format. - Chapter 2 of I’ll Keep Your Secret by Toastbun is now live! In this chapter,Daehyun somehow finds himself in the same predicament as Hyejin as his mother and father are pressuring him to start dating another CEO’s daughter. Wanting to get his parents off his back, Daehyun lies and tells them he’s already dating someone. The thing is, Daehyun doesn’t know how he’s going to keep up with this lie if he can't find someone to pretend to be his girlfriend!
- Just an hour after posting the voice acting Co/Create for Daehyun from I’ll Keep Your Secret, Toastbun received a submission from her favorite anime voice actor, Griffin Puatu (Beastars, Spider-Man: Miles Morales)! The serendipity of the moment was perfectly captured in the below video by our social media manager, Vicky. Our jaws are still on the floor…
- The creators of Planetarium have picked the first 5 winners of their voice performance Co/Creates! Congrats to Jessie Cheung (Luna), Damian Hunt (Sol), Karla Medrano (Terra), Reese Zion (Mars), and Meara Donald (Venus) on landing roles in this *out of this world* story and congrats to Carrie and Celia for finding the actors to bring their characters to life! Stay tuned as we re-release Planterium with these new voice performances 👀!
- There’s still time to submit to one of the four voice performance Co/Creates available in the world of After Honour ahead of creator Gen Staelens’ livestream this Sunday at 8pm GMT, in which she’ll be listening to submissions live on Instagram!
- Finally, we're excited to highlight a new feature of the StoryCo platform: camera shake! Check out this demo video on our Instagram detailing how Jason Michael Primrose, creator of The Arrival, brought his story to life with incredibly dynamic motion by replicating the classic camera shake movement used in filmmaking—a cinematographer’s best friend.
